How do you know if you have a good immune system?

For a few years now, we have emphasized the importance of washing our hands, keeping our distances and protecting ourselves from the bacteria around us. In this sense, we understand that it is just as important to think about our immune system and question its performance. Is your immunity currently weakened by poor lifestyle habits or is it functioning at its optimal state? How can you know?

First, it must be understood that the immune system is complex and therefore it is difficult to confirm its condition with simple criteria. On the other hand, we know that good immunity is favored among other things by a healthy lifestyle, regular physical activity, good stress management, restful sleep and good nutrition. Nevertheless, it may weaken.


SIGNS TO WATCH OUT FOR


Do you catch the smallest viruses?
It should be noted that being often sick, especially at the intestinal level, can be a sign of inefficiency of the immune system.


Do you develop many allergies or cough without being sick? Do you suffer from eczema or rashes?
It could be that your body no longer responds adequately to external agents by reacting disproportionately, feeling constantly attacked. This reaction may be a sign of immune dysregulation.


Do you suffer from unexplained fatigue and feel weak morally and physically?
The whole thing is accompanied by memory problems, dizziness and nausea when no disease has been detected? Be aware that you may have an immune problem.


Do you experience diffuse muscle pain of varying intensities, especially after physical effort?
Again, this could be a sign to watch out for.


Having trouble scarring?
If you notice that your lesions take longer to close or become infected, you may have an immune problem.

While it’s important to keep an eye out, be aware that these signs don’t necessarily mean that you have an immune problem and could be hiding other health problems. Before reaching conclusions, consider discussing this with a health professional.
